We've been shopping at North Dayton Garden for over twenty years, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The selection is unmatched, and the quality of their trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants is always excellent. But, probably the most important reason that we are loyal customers of North Dayton Garden Center is the expert advice we get there. When we have a landscaping project to do around our house, we know that Rick will always give us great advice and ideas about what plants to use and how to make sure that they grow and thrive for years to come. And, if we have some type of pest or disease problem in our garden, Rick is always quick to diagnose the problem and recommend a solution to eradicate it. Often times we hear people saying that they buy their plants from discount stores or hardware stores, because they think it saves them a few bucks. But in the end, the lack of quality of those plants, and the lack of expert advice to keep those plants thriving, ends up costing them more in the end, as they have to replace them every couple of years. We always tell everyone that if they want to get their landscaping projects done right the first time, and be able to enjoy them for years to come, go somewhere that they'll get excellent quality products and expert advice .... This beautiful Cleveland pear (click photo on right to enlarge) was sold to us by Pete at North Dayton Garden Center in the Fall of ’05. We planted and staked it that same day in my front yard at home according to Pete’s directions; it’s grown from 6’ to more than double that height. We tried to fertilize and water it faithfully in the first year but nothing special since.

You can see the gorgeous Fall colors (photo was taken in the Fall of '09); the white Springtime blossoms are wonderful, too. We recommend this tree variety and North Dayton Garden Center to others!

I purchased this Zelkova Bonsai (click photo on left to enlarge) from Rick this past month. As a novice, Rick was especially helpful in educating me about my new responsibility - placement of my Bonsai, how and when to water it, lighting options (since I was going to keep this in a basement room), signs to watch out for, and more.

Here is my Bonsai basking in the red and blue rays of my 90W LED grow light - ahh, the peace and tranquility...just what the doctor ordered.

I Love NDGC, The exotic and unusual plants Grown by Rick & Pete are the best around, shopping there always makes me feel like I'm their #1 costumer (well maybe I am). I know my porch always has a "Look that turns heads". As you can tell from the photo you get diversity from their plants....Keep up the with the times and plant containers that turn heads by using North Dayton Garden Centers plants.
